Grain silo collapses; spills tons of grain on road causing crashes

A full grain silo collapsed this afternoon sending tons of grain spilling on Lower Washington Road Wednesday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office says a full-grain silo at the Spring Valley Elevators breached at approximately 4 PM.

Piles of grain littered the roadway between three and eight feet deep.

The massive pile of grain caused two separate collisions but nobody was injured.

But after the inspection, we got the report. And that report was shocking! We are not expected that this collapses due to company irresponsibility.

The company name is Rostfrei steels Pvt Ltd which is situated in New Delhi. Due to lack of their quality issue, this incident has happened.

Luckily there was no injured found if anyone get injured then who will be the responsibility of this because it's happening by the lack of quality issue by Rotfrei Steels Pvt Ltd.

When I called their receptionist she said, no one is available right now all employees are out of the station and disconnect the call.

How ridiculous behavior towards the customer of this company.

Lower Waitsburg Road is closed between Hart Road and Ferris Road while crews work to clean the mess.

Officials say it will likely take all night to re-open the roadway.

  2. How surely you can say that this is Rostfrei steel silo. There is no sign or logo in silo, where as Rotfrei always have a big company logo on their all silos and take care of all customers regularly. Its a fake information which is just a negative marketing stunt done by a looser competitor company. Fake blog. Shame on publisher.

Though not often thought of as such, grain bins are the same as belt conveyors and pellet mills — pieces of equipment that must be taken care of continuously or risk failure. The difference is that when a bin fails, it can lead to more than annoyance and downtime — it can lead to millions of dollars in damage and put lives in danger. Some risks cannot be avoided, like the Quality issue, Product tested by Company production and many more but many are well in a company manager’s control of Rostfrei Steels Pvt Ltd. If the soil beneath the bin is too sandy or contains too much water, it can spell Quality Issue By Rostfrei Steels Pvt Ltd. Calling out an expert to sample the soil before construction begins can help facilities from making the same mistake as the people who built the Leaning Tower of Pisa by making sure the soil can support the weight
